Winter Holiday in Flachau
Flachau lies amid the Salzburg Sports World - and in the heart of Austria's biggest ski alliance, the "Ski Amadé" - in other words, we are the best choice you could have possibly made. The Ski amadé's broad network of free ski shuttles, state-of-the-art lifts and modern snow-making equipment, makes busy slopes and long waits a thing of the past. The Amadé Ski Alliance includes all of these regions: the Salzburg Sports World, Schladming- Dachstein- Tauern, Gastein, Grossarl Valley and Hochkönig's Winter Kingdom. Which means, you now have access to an incredible 865 (!) km of ski slopes with 283 lifts - all on a single ski pass !
Top-notch fun in the snow: floodlit slope and a floodlit toboggan run - the 1.5 km-long ski slope in Flachau has been an attraction for a number of years for everyone looking to squeeze in a little extra skiing magic between their après-ski and other nighttime activities. Always active, whether skiing downhill or along the trail - in the sunshine and powder snow, or under a starry sky - on the superbly groomed slopes and cross-country ski trails in Flachau - with direct access to the ski trail right by the farm and the stop for the free ski shuttle very near by!

With the mountain bike, too, you can better acquaint yourself with the countryside around Flachau. Flachau also comes highly recommended for hiking holidays amid the golden tones of autumn - a visit to one of the numerous Harvest Festival events then becomes an absolute "must"!
